Classic Rock and Beatles Tour from London - Holiday

See where Jimi Hendrix died on this Classic Rock tour

See where Jimi Hendrix died on this Classic Rock tour

On the Classic Rock and Beatles Tour from London, during the holiday season, you will be touring sites that made the 60s swing! This tour covers Chelsea, Kensington, Holland Park, Notting Hill Gate, St John's Wood, Marylebone and the West End.

You will see the boutiques, pubs and clubs that made a decade and inspired hundreds of well-known lyrics.

For Beatle fans there's Brian Epstein's flat, Ringo's Kings Road apartment, John and Yoko's first home, Paul's current London home, the studio where the Sgt. Pepper's cover was shot, Apple Office and boutique, EMI, Mason's Yard, where the "Mop Tops" played their last ever live gig and lots of other Beatle and related landmarks and, YES, you do get to walk across that famed Abbey Road crossing.

The tour also covers where Geldof conceived Band Aid and Live Aid, where and how the Sex Pistols was formed, the Clash's neighborhood, also home to Bob Marley. There are heaps of sites to please Pink Floyd fans. You'll pass the homes of Freddie Mercury, Bowie, Bolan, Jimmy Page, Macca, Clapton, Van Morrison, to name a few and see where Jimi Hendix died. You never know who you might see in passing!

For Stones fans there's the legendary Edith Grove apartment, various of Jagger's houses, and the Sticky Fingers restaurant. All this plus studios, record company offices, gig sites, secluded hotels favored by the stars, album cover locations and story, after story, after story from your informed rock guide.

Testimonials:

"Great tour; made my trip to London! A friend recommended me to take this and he did me a big favor. I'll do another one of your tours next time I'm back."
Peter, NYC 2008

"We took this tour as a Red Letter Day as a present for my husband. I couldn't have chosen a better gift. He was over the moon. Let me know if you develop more tours as this is a great way to solve my Christmas presents problem!"
Helen, London 2008

"Just fantastic. I can say no more. This was my second time on the tour. I love the way you guys add new bits and just make it all come alive!"
Jack NJ USA 2007

"Thanks a million! I thought it would be good but it was BRILLIANT!"
Pam and Susie Brisbane, Australia 2007

"I was on the tour on Sep 4 and despite the fact this was my 7th time in London, nearly all of the tour covered areas I had never been. Really interesting and humorous as the tour guide really knew his stuff. Five of us in a people carrier talking music and visiting rock landmarks - a great day out!! Keep the tours going!!"
Kenny Milne, Glasgow, Scotland
